We have been long time believers that real estate is one of the best financial investments one can make for their future.  Just like any investment, there is always risk, but there is risk in doing nothing as well. 

Becoming home owners and property managers long ago, we fell in love with the idea of helping others navigate the real estate and mortgage industry. 

 

We will always be upfront and honest with our clients.  Our Philosophy is to Educate and Lead, not to Push and Pressure people into decisions.  Unlike many other agents, we will not mislead you with a lot of boasting, prideful statistics and unrealistic marketing about how we can sell your home for way above market in 30 days or less.   Sales Pitches like these are very common among agents and they do bait many people in.  Later down the road when things are not going as planned, clients must become realistic or not sell at all.   We will help you establish realistic expectations in the beginning, so that you are not disappointed or surprised.  We provide you all the data and tools we have available to us, in order to help you make the best educated decisions possible.  We are not in this business for a quick buck.  We love our clients and care very much about each one of them! Our goal is not to just help you through the current transaction, but we want to be your resource for all of your real estate and mortgage needs for LIFE!

LETS GET REAL:  THE MYTHS AND TRUTHS ABOUT REAL ESTATE

Myths vs Truths:

 

Myth:  My home will sell faster or for more money if I use a big Brand Name Companies like Windermere, Re/Max, John L. Scott, Coldwell Banker, Prudential, Century 21 etc.

 

Truth:  If homes sold faster or for more money with these big name companies, than why wouldn't all agents be using them and increasing their business and profit? 

Truth is — It is the individual agent that makes all the difference when buying and selling.  There are good agents and no so good agents, everywhere. 

 



Myth:  Companies like Windermere, Re/Max, John L. Scott, Coldwell Banker, Prdudential, Century 21 etc. offer more exposure for listings than other companies.

 

Truth:  Once listed on the NWMLS, ALL agents belonging to the NWMLS, have access to that listing information equally.  Any company or individual agent can also syndicate those listings to a multitude of internet sites for additional national/international exposure.  The most visited real estate websites are actually NOT real estate companies at all.  The sites most visited by buyers are Yahoo Real Estate, FrontDoor Real Estate, Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia etc. Link to chart.

 


 

Myth:  Listing with a large company like Windermere, John L Scott etc.  my agent will have special access to their private group of agents that may have buyers.

 

Truth:  The absolute greatest exposure is the internet.  Odds are much better for you to sell your home when it has the greatest internet exposure.  Most buyers do not come from within the listing agent's own office of 3-25 people.  70% of buyers find your home right off the internet.
